eating me out ouf house and home 7

Have you ever heard the phrase eating me out of house and home? Im sure that somewhere alog the way you have. it's commonly used, but it seems taht most people don't know where it came from. well we have all heard of shakespeare, and we have all heard of the pahrse. so we could just put two and two together but i gues not.
Yes it came from shakespeare, but what does it mean you might ask? well in the most simple way, it's someone who is just eating so much and costing so much that you have to sell all you have and then your house too. It seems kind of werid to me, that you would let someone stay when they are doing something like that and not make them work and pay for their own things. but i can't argue with something that is true cause I know that has happend before. So i guess all i can say is don't do that and you won't have to worry about not having friends.
